Wi-Fi HaLow (802.11ah) solves the problem that has always limited camera and sensor deployments: range. This session shows HaLow backhauling live video at low power, with no wired run and no cloud or apps used — then hands that stream to a Qualcomm QCS6490 system-on-module that turns it into intelligent AI. On the QCS6490’s Hexagon NPU, YOLO person and pet detection, subject re-identification, and moving-vehicle license-plate recognition all run concurrently on live video, entirely on-device with nothing sent to the cloud. A detection drives several actions including opening a Matter-over-Thread lock, triggering a garage, or flagging an unknown person or pet alert
